CAN-Gateway software is intended for communication with devices from Hoval AG that are equipped with a "TopTronic® E" (*) controller. This software must be executed on compatible hardware based on an ESP32 microcontroller and then allows:1. Integrate the devices into the home automation system (e.g. Home Assistant, ioBroker, OpenHAB, Domoticz, Loxone etc.). Supported protocols / features:MQTT protocolREST APIModbus TCPHome Assistant MQTT auto discoveryKNX IP multicast/routing (no tunneling)2. Control the devices online from anywhere using the associated Android app / Windows x64 app and read out the current data(**). Features:Encrypted end-to-end connection via the Internet.No cloud / server in between: the app accesses your system directly. So very quickly.3. Log data and save it on an SD card, e.g. for system or error analysis. For replacement see this product Description:This product can be used as a development and evaluation board for various purposes. it must be used with the ESP32 microcontroller board (known as ESP32 DevKit with 30 pins) and integrates: Ethernet (LAN) CAN (via 2x RJ45 sockets [pin assignment compatible with CAN-Open Standard] and a screw terminal block) Micro SD card slot Micro USB (for power supply, no data!) Equipment option for a second CAN bus connection (with an MCP2515 and an SN65VHD230 IC), not equipped, available as a paid option Due to this feature, this product is particularly suitable for developing and building CAN gateways.
